Hi :)
I want the HTC tilt 2 or the motorola backflip from at&t. yes i know, the iphone but i already have a full touch screen phone and i want an actual qwerty keyboard. I'm not too sure about the backflip because of it's keyboard on the back, and i haven't really looked at it in person before. The tilt 2 looks pretty cool but i dont know much about it either.. So, anyone who has or has had these phones help please? Alll the cons would be great. Thanksssss in advance :D

Personally. The HTC Tilt 2 has the TF3D and it looks nice, but it only skins so far into windows mobile. The MotoBlur covers your homescreens on the Backflip with a load of social networking widgets. The Backflip is somewhat laggy (but you can turn off the animations in settings to make it a little faster.) The Backflip has all the QWERTY keys lined up and not offset like the Tilt 2, so that makes it a bit more difficult to type on (but the Backflip has the D-Pad [directional pad]. So you could use your Backflip even if the touchscreen function died.) The Backflip has one of the oldest versions of Android OS on it, and the Android UI is replaced by MotoBlur.

Neither have multi-touch.

The browsing on the Backflip is a little quicker a smoother than the Tilt 2 but the Tilt 2 has two browser choices (Opera and Internet Explorer.)

The Tilt 2 had some freezing issues but they were all fixed with the HotFix in December 2009. The Backflip is said to have another Android OS update coming to bring it to a higher level OS (2.0/2.1)

They both have a media player. The Backflip has a 5.0 MP camera , while the Tile only has a 3.2 MP camera.
The Tilt 2 is a bit bulkier than the Backflip, but it comes in exchange with a larger battery.

Don't get the iPhone. I'm typing this on one, (on iOS4) and Safari has frozen three times - each time for more than 3 or 4 minutes. The iPhone is lacking, laggy, extremely buggy and has a just plain ugly UI.
