I've seen several videos of the HTC Inspire 720p video capture. The reviews say the video capture is good, but I have no idea what they are talking about. Here are some examples:

The Inspire has really jerky exposure, at least I think it is called exposure, and all the dim and bright and dim and bright is really bad and gives me a headache. The Vibrant is also smooth and not choppy like the Inspire and the video quality/compression looks leaps and bounds better, with lots of fun blocks and stairsteps and dithering in the Inspire videos. Both have bad audio capture, but the Inspire is especially bad. My Samsung Wave has the same video capture as the Vibrant, but much much better audio.
Am I spoiled by Samsung's video recording chops, and the Inspire really is considered "good"? Because I really want the Inspire, for everything else BUT the video capture, but can't reconcile why everyone is claiming it is actually good.
