HTC Hero v Nokia X6

Alright this is a tough one for me. I have an a Nokia e50, e51, N76 and now an e71-1. I am getting sick and tired of Nokia and the Symbian OS (though the most recent e71 Firmware has fixed a few of my problems). I have loved the hero ever since I first saw it and now that the Legend is coming out in theory it should drop a little in price right?

Anyways what I am looking for is something to replace my dying mp3 player and something to listen to (and download) my podcasts and internet radio (and possibly FM radio). Also one of my must have programs is Nokia Sports Tracker (or something like it for Andriod).

I really like the fact that both phones have GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack, but I don't want to fall into the same old trap of being pissed off by Symbian after I use the phone for a year, will that happen with Android though?

Anyways whats your recommendation?

I forgot to add, I use AT&T 3G 1900mhz in my area. I use wifi at both home and work a lot. I use two gmail accounts and an exchange account for work. I think thats pretty much it. I don't watch a lot of videos mostly music.

well the hero doesnt have US 3g bands. the x6 i really havent heard anything amazing about it. it seems you want a good mp3 player and a good gmail sync. If your going with a nokia i would go with the x6 or the e72 both seems to have a great battery power. If you want android go with the nexus one

After the experience with the E71 I would not get an E72 (even though its a good phone). I am just tired of Symbian I think. Today I purchased an unlocked Telus HTC Hero that has the US 3G bands so I should be getting it in a week. I am looking forward to it I think I chose the right one.
