HTC G1 problem..............?

my G1 goes to a color screen that says DREA100 32B PVT upon turning it on and also in the middle of a hard re-set. why? can it be fixed? how? it 1st started to happen about 2 weex ago when i pulled the battery out w/o 1st turning off the phone. i never dropped it. my camera worx & there is nothing wrong w/ the camera button.
