When I am on the home screen I see the orange alert that shows 1 unread text message. I have deleted all my messages from inbox outbox and drafts already and turned off my phone twice to see if it would get rid of the icon. This doesn't affect the phones ability to be used but after 1 month of looking at that icon it is driving me nuts. Is there a way to permanently delete message history? Maybe that will work. Thanks to anyone that can help.
