HTC Freestyle or HTC Inpire?

First, I know they are not even comparable.... I'm just debating on the whole smart phone thing.. with that said:

I just re-enlisted my AT&T contract - going from Samsung eternity to HTC Freestyle - with unlimited texting. No Data plan required.

The samsung, never used data unless I actually USED it. The Freestyle uses it even when you do not do ANYTHING that requires it. SO far in the first week, at&t says I have used almost 3mb of data ($4 worth)

I complained to the guy at the store and he said that large pic messages actually DO use data and the Freestyle does actually use a little bit "here and there" on it's own for stupid things that you can't turn off. The only way to eliminate it is to have all data turned off to that line....which will allow texting but not pic messaging.
They are giving me the option to trade the freestyle for an Inspire at no cost, but would require the $15/mo (200mb) plan for 2 yrs.

OR I can add the unlimited data to my freestyle for $10 a month. (is the freestyle really capable of internet very well?)

I'm debating on getting the smart phone, but not sure if it is actually worth the switch. There are pro's and Con's for each phone.

Should I upgrade to the Android base 4g inpire, or just keep the Brew MP Freestyle??

is 200mb / month good for someone that probably won't use it all day every day? I would only occasionally check ebay stuff, and POSSIBLY emails - and texting - not big into social networking, so I won't be surfing facebook and posting updates all the time or anything.

so much debating LOL

I'm actually a pretty tech savvy person, but I use my laptop and other computers for internet stuff...
