I got the Evo on Friday and instantly downloaded the Y! Mail app. I had no problems at all until today. Suddenly when I try to compose a new message, a couple of seconds after opening the new message page, I get a very annoying error saying: "The application Mail (process com.yahoo.mobile.client.android.mail) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
At first I just turned off the phone then restarted it, nothing changed. So I tried clearing all data from the app, no change. I deleted the app completely off the phone and reinstalled, no change. I really don't want to use any other app other than this one.
I can't seem to find if anyone else has had this frustrating problem with the app, as the only problems coming up when I search online are concerning the default mail app and other phones. I went ahead and followed the fixes for those other phones, but no change.
