htc evo home screen problem?

every time i press the home screen, the screen resets itself..
like the white background and the green letter word "htc" comes out
and starts to load my home screen again and again...
i dont know why it keeps on loading everytime i press the home button. its really annoying
 
Have you tried turning off the phone and taking out the battery for about 10 minutes?
If you have and that didn't work, you might want to do a hard reset, but its a hassle bcuz it'll erase everything. If you decide to do that, make sure to take out your SD card so you won't lose your pics, music etc
