HTC Evo 4G or HTC Arrive?

I have a Palm Pixi that I got on March 28th. I have 30 days to exchange it. I am trying to decide between the HTC Evo 4G and the HTC Arrive. I wanted the Evo but it's out of stock online and I can't exchange the phone at my local store because they don't accept returns from Sprint.com. So should I hold out for the Evo to get back in stock or go with the HTC Arrive? I mainly use it for Email, Facebook, uploading videos to Youtube, watching movies ( I Like that the Arrive has the Netflix app). I mean, is the Arrive too basic or is it a high powered smartphone like the Evo? 4G doesn't matter because I don't have 4G coverage where I live anyway. Thanks!

The Arrive has the same power processor, and is considered in every review i have seen the best windows phone available. I don't own either but am leaning towards the arrive on my next upgrade. If you work on longer emails you may appreciate the physical keyboard which the biggest thing i miss on my Android phone.
Both phones should perform admirably on the tasks you list, but its really about personal taste.
I dont have alot of experience with the new Windows Phone platform though. The Evo's bigger screen may be better for watching videos, the Android netflix app has leaked onto the internet, but im not sure if streaming is working yet, because i couldnt get it to work on my phone. Android is also alot more customizable.
Do not keep that pixi whatever you decide as it is ridiculously obsolete to still be sold.

EVO 4G is going to be obsolete. The Arrive isn't any better in terms of technology and even lagging a few things still. Netflix is out for WP7 but soon will be on Android, but the YouTube experience is much better on Android, especially with Google's new app. Plus Youtube will get its own streaming movies and live streaming too. The Youtube app on Android lets you upload videos directly from the phone.

If you can wait for a longer while there is something called the EVO 3D coming. Dual core processor with 3D and even a 3D binocular camera to boot. If you plan to record videos and send them up to Youtube, you will like the extra power this new device brings.
