HTC Droid Incredible Cricket?

I just bought a new Droid Incredible and have been looking around for a way to fully flash it. I was hoping someone could help me out or just point me in the right direction.

yes they are fairly similar to the rest the current android line. rooting is the worst part on there till you figure out the timing. good luck

Rooting the Incredible technically is very easy now with any of the methods you can lookup on google. HOWEVER What I have found out and cannot seem to figure out why its not mentioned, is that some hboot versions are incompatible with doing a root. When I finally figured this out and upgraded the hboot to a different version, root was achieved in a matter of 2 minutes taking my time with screen shots and jumping for joy.

Using AnyCut.apk will help you get into the APN settings and even the Proxy Settings to get WAP working, even tho the Cricket APN isn't visible, its there after you set it up properly. EPST is the same from all other phones I've done, except these droid phones have a couple additional settings but they are clear enough to figure out on the first try.

MMS is the same as the Hero, just follow the instructions and you got MMS.

My goal now is to figure out how to get complete functionality with WAP so apps use it. Currently only web browsing is possible from what I can tell. SenseUI's weather only works on wifi, apps only works on wifi, any app that uses the internet will only work on wifi.

If someone has a workaround for this, please mention.

Anyway, I have a 90% Fully Flashed HTC Incredible and I love it now! However I say go with a Evo haha, Sprint isn't anal with their phones like verizon is.

I'm having trouble getting my incredible up on cricket, I've tried many prl's but so far *228 and 611 will connect me to cricket (*228 fails and says they are unable to program my phone) but I can NOT call anyone else I get an "Error 31" Please help

Well I figured out how to flash my phone. Thanks to the people that tried to help and to the people that read the thread and just ignored it. If anyone needs help just PM me.

I have mine all done except for the mms, I've got the settings all in correctly (from what I've read) but picture msg's still fail. Ideas?

hi all. I got my Inc today, and I'm trying to get started porting it to Cricket. I"m running into problems right at the beginning. On the SD card, I installed the HTC Sync software and drivers.

I dialed ##3424# and it brought up "DM Command service," and all the drivers install, except "HTC DIAG" The following options pop up on the phone
"Charge Only"
"HTC Sync"
"Disk Drive"
"Mobile Broadband Connect"

which one do I choose? I tried choosing a few options, but then the "HTC DIAG" driver is not found. how can I get this? I already installed sync
