I'm looking to get a phone to help me when travelling abroad, so fair browsing capabilities. I'm not much of a phone user asides from calls and texts so I don't much care for all the apps that you can get.
Do I go for the HTC HD mini which is smaller and does the job fine, or do I pay £60 extra for the HTC Desire which has a nicer screen, but is less portable. The desire also has the better OS from what I can see, since the mini uses Windows Mobile 6.5.3, but as I said, I don't really care about apps so does that matter?
Basically, I don't want to pay £60 more if the HD mini will do the job just fine, especially since it's smaller. Should I worry about Windows Mobile 6.5.3 being old?
