before u say it, i know they are expensive but my parents are allowing me to purchase an expensive phone, because my saturday job at waitrose will pay the phone monthly fees. back to the phones.
i originally wanted the galaxy s because of the nice size and the good reviews its got. i thought that i would look very stupid holding the desire hd to my ear to talk, but then i realised that i only ever ring nowdays to ring home, and i text loads and so i realised that holding it up to my ear isnt really a problem at all and if it is then ill just get a plug in headphone/ microphones.
im buying the phone to use as the replacement for my computer which im selling my 50% stake to my parents and we're putting it in the living room as my mum needs a computer. so im selling my 2gen ipod touch and my sony ericsson which together should get £150. so i need a good size screen for browsing and watching videos. i like all the apps like layar and stuff like that but im not massive on games, i play them if im bored, but i dont waste my life on them so if the screen is too big or small to play them im not that bothered. i like using the maps aswell and seeing as a contract would take me through sixth form i would use it as a sat nav aswell.
overall im starting to edge towards the desire hd because it has a bigger screen for watching videos, maps, doing my homework quickly, and browsing, like i said holding to my ear isnt a problem as i only ring like once a month. also the software on it looks far better on it than the samsung. the way i see it, the htc does everything the samsung does but with a bigger screen and better camera, so should i get the HTC Desire HD or the Samsung Galaxy S? what do u think is better? thanks
