HTC Desire - Good? or hype?

I've ordered the HTC Desire

If anyone has been lucky enough to get one, are they as good as what they are hyped up to be?

I am impressed by the android market and i'm looking forward to when i get my hands on it!

I've seen some good reviews on the interweb for the HTC, how does it compare to the iPhone?
 
Hype.

You want power go to sprint and anxiously wait like the rest of us for the EVO 4G.

Its a beast within a beastly network.
