HTC aria navigator and AT&T Navigator?

I just got an HTC Aria through AT&T. I have two navigator programs on my phone. One is at&t- which I know requires a separate 10/15 dollar monthly plan to run. But I have a program on my phone list titled "navigator". When I open it it gives me options like "map" "directions" "footprints", and some other options. What is this app/program and does it cost me anything to use it?
