HSM3: Shocking

I was at my nephews, who just love Disney Channel and especially High School Musical, and they were watching the promotional trail for the movies and I looked in horror (more in horror to my nephews) on the Walt Disney logo on top of the HSM3 text- it's going to be in cinemas not on the Telly, as with HSM1 and HSM2. Was it a good move, or screaming disaster?

I think it is a good move. The first two were very successful (the premiere of HSM2 was the highest-rated basic-cable broadcast in U.S. history) so it seems a pretty obvious idea to move into cinemas, IMO.

I see it as the "big bang" finale by putting in cinemas.

I'm surprised they didn't do it with the first 2 to be honest, they would have raked the cash in, though I can't believe just how much cash this franchise has mde anyway!!

I know I'll be staying away from cinemas when it comes out, the place will be mental I do admit to seeing the first 2 though & I'm err...29
