Hp laptop wireless not working?

My hp laptop wireless internet usually works but after an hour it just stops working and when i try to find connections my router doesn't show up. I am using windows vista. Is the problem the router or the laptop because my ps3 always works wireless. The router is 2wire 2701 from Bell
