hp ink cartridge...which one is more worth to buy?

i'm using hp printer d2660...and i want to buy a black ink cartridge for a spare because i'm living in university. but i'm not sure which one should i buy (either hp60 black ink cartridge or hp60xl black ink cartridge) because i had read some customer review about this ink cartridge and most of the comments are bad (such as "does not last long" & "it was empty"). i just want to know which one is better & worth to be used..since i know that 60xl ink can print more than 60 ink
