In the midst of autumn, Savannah, Carter, Holly, Andy, Elisha, and Reese are starting to get into spooky situations like Andy's house possibly being inhabited by spirits, the bathroom sinks at school keep turning on and off, and other bizarre events. Meanwhile, Savannah gets a volunteer job at the public library. Appalled at finding out that Carter and Andy had placed a double standard on female homosexuals and male homosexuals by saying it's okay for two females to make out but not males decides to team up with her friend Justin to do a newspaper report on Gay Rights and a new student named Martin that Reese has a crush on is starting to get on her last nerves. Carter wants to try something more than kissing with Savannah, but she's too timid to do it.
