How's the N93 in NYC w/ Cingular?

Hey guys!

So, with the N93 hot having GSM 850 on it, which I've heard is almost a must-have for Cingular service in NYC... does anyone have any experience using the N93 + Cingular in NYC (Manhattan, primarily)? I know that T-Mo sticks with 1900, and that they have EDGE, but I'd be moving to Cingular in the interest of eventually getting some HSDPA phone action in the future, so they're really my only option for using unbranded phones.

Plus, my prior experience with T-Mo in the city is that once you walk into a building, you get no signal. Although that was with a Sidekick II...

Thanks in advance!

I've been in Manhatten tons of times with Tri's and indoors on Cingular is an absolute NO-GO. On the street they seemed to work fine. The last time I was in Manhatten without a quad band was the time I made the mistake of bringing my 8890 and 6260 which are both tris and I was stuck going to the cingular store and buying a phone for the week....and paid a premium price as it wasnt an upgrade...at least it was a 6620 but of course I already had one sitting at home. If your on Cingular in NYC and are debating on getting a Tri band only I would not recommend it.

No way Jose! ......not true.....My only experience with Tri bands in NYC is in Manhatten and they were not good. I made it less than half way through the first floor of Macys until my signal plummeted to a big fat goose egg! 0
