hey there. i have been fishing for 20 plus years and that is one thing that i wish that my dad did for me. i kinda picked it up on my own with the help of my grandad. i never really had that father and son fishing trip. a little more than 3 months ago my wife gave me my first son. our first child. I am so eager to take my lil man fishing when he gets older. i hope and pray that he learns to love the life that i call fishin like i do. i am not going to push him onto it because there were things in my childhood that i was forced to do and i dont really want anything to do with that now. i am going to introduce fishing to him and teach him and talk and listen to everything that he has to say and hope that he learns to love it. i am an avid collector of fishing artifacts antuques collectibles and somthings that others may just say is junk but i like it and i hope that one day i can pass it all down to him. i get all warm inside when i go to the bait and tackle shop or the big ol bass pro and see a dad and son walking around the fishing section and the lil man is asking his dad questions and the father takes time to talk with him. i wish that all children could experience fishing and i wish that more people took their children fishing rather than putting a cookie in their hand and a video controller in the other. those are just my thoughts. good luck good fishin be safe and remember to share the experience
