How would you rate the design of my website?

I made a website where people can post their own funny stories, kind of like FmyLife.com

I was wondering what you guys think of the design, layout, color scheme, ect... Any feedback is GREATLY appreciated!

I wanted to stick with a happy, upbeat color scheme, but does it get too annoying, what would you rate the design on the scale of 1-10?
