How would you handle it if Chris Berman decided to retire from sports broadcasting?

It wouldn't bother me all that much. He's quite the colorful guy, that's for sure. But he's not the end all to beat all sportscaster, either.

I would finally be able to watch Sportscenter, the NFL draft, and the Home Run Derby normally, without having to hit the Mute button. :)

I would freak out!!!!! He is my favorite sports broadcaster ever but he did freak out in the home run derby when nelson cruz hit the ball to the fourth deck!!=)

I would be glad that I won't have to mute the t.v during the home run derby anymore. But I'll save my excessive celebrating for the day Joe Morgan announces his retirement.

There was a time I liked Chris Berman...but now he is less apart of the show, because he is trying to be the show. I can stand when broadcasters feel they have a role in our enjoyment or processing of what we just saw. Stick to the facts and be economic with your words, I say.

Berman's problem is that he wants to be Howard Cosell but he lacks the intellect. The day he retires will be a banner day not only for sports broadcasting but for sports viewers who are forced to endure his mindless rambling and puerile nicknames. He is an idiot.

I wouldn't care, as long as he doesn't do the home run derby anymore...

back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, GONE!!

that is so god damn annoying....
