I have 2 1993 Lincoln Mark8s and have been trying swapping parts from the good one to see if i can fix the misfire but with no results. I put a timing light on Sparkplug wire 8 and it is firing erratically.
I have 2 1993 Lincoln Mark8s and have been trying swapping parts from the good one to see if i can fix the misfire but with no results. I put a timing light on Sparkplug wire 8 and it is firing erratically. The car is electronicly fire by one computer i already swapped and put back. it seems to idel fine but if you floor it it lagges and almost stalls. the car also has a seperate computer firing the fule injectors. could misfire be the crank position sencor.
its not the distributor coil because they fire in sires and the all the other plugs fire fine and the compute firing the coils is ok to.
