How would you feel if your boyfriend or girlfriend has a best friend of the opposite

sex? and lets say you aren't the best friend.

I always think they're going to fall in love. They're already more than friends, they're BEST friends. They like eachother so much...why not be boyfriend and girlfriend if they're already close to eachother?

My ex has a best female best friend, I wasn't happy with it. I told him how I felt, but he just said stuff about how he USED to like her but they're just best friends and nothing more O_O Like I really wanted to hear something like that.

Well the boyfriend I have now had a best female friend. The only reason they aren't best friends anymore is just because she got a job and couldn't spend time with him. I asked him why they didn't just date eachother and..I can't remember his answer but I think he said something like.."cause I didn't like her that way." Well he liked her enough to become best friends...Frankly, I wouldn't like it if my boyfriend still had that best friend.

I just want your answer and opinion. Don't needa say anything about my opinion.
to firefighter: if you "don't like eachother" you wouldnt be friends. my boyfriend doesnt have a best friend right now..so nothing for me to get over. i asked a different question..not why YOU arent dating your best friend. and if my boyfriend did still have a best friend and i wanted him to stop spending time with her then he would to make me happy. but i wouldnt ask him to do that...i'd want him to, but i wouldnt ask, heh
 
Well one of my best friends is a guy.....I had a boyfriend and he was so jealous of him but no matter how many times I said we were just friends and nothing more he wouldn't believe me! It's just nice to get a different reaction....If you tell a guy something you'll get a different reaction from a guy then you would if you would have told a girl....I hoped this helped...Good Luck!

is bc it would be awkward
its just creepy when you have seen their naked bab butt before you have sex with them

I wouldn't like it either. And I have the same problem. A female best friend means a special female friend. A special female friend means more than a friend. I first wanted to be open minded and decided not to care about that. But no matter how hard you try, it's always gonna be a problem, even if they both don't like each other that way.

My bf's best friend is female. And she's always been a problem in our relationship, especially after she broke up with her boyfriend. I like her a lot and I really had no problem with her at the beginning. I also know that my bf is not attracted to her. Plus I look way better than her and she's drunk all the time. Only a stupid guy would dump me for her. But the problem is more than that. Like many other girls, she always wants attention. And it's annoying that she wants attention from my bf. I tried to explain to my bf many times that girls are like that and that's why guys shouldn't be close friends with girls. They want your guy to be reserved for them.

When this female was still with her ex, she was fine because she got attention from her ex and she was sincere to me. Now that she doesn't have anyone, she wants it from my bf. One day she told me to drink a lot like her because my bf likes girls like her. But I know my bf doesn't like that kind of girl and that's the thing he hates about this female best friend. Now I feel that she's trying to break me up from my bf, although she doesn't like him that way. But she wants him to be reserved for her.
 
i wouldnt care, they are in the friend zone so it doesnt matter. if they flirt around and stuff i would be a little worried. but best friends are more of a brother and sister relationship so yeah doesnt matter
