How would the following function look if I would sketch it?

Hi everyone,

I had a quick question concerning functions.

I was wondering how f(x)=(x^2-4)/(x+2)

will end up on paper? I am NOT allowed to use a calculator I would have to sketch it by hand.

I think I see how one point is (2,0) when you replace the 0 with the y. But how is it that it's not defined at (-2,-4)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
