How would someone cut your brake lines in your car?

How would you know if that is what caused the accident, and WHERE exactly are the brake lines located?
No, I would not do this to someone. What if they were going like, really fast and slammed into someone else completely innocent as well. What if that person had children in the car. Believe me, I have my OWN children and I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I was just wondering if it's an actual like (like a wire) and I could tell myself, or not.

I don't want to tell you, because I am not sure if this is a trick question, so you can do this to someone else and your wondering if you can get away with it.
So if you suspect this has already happened, then a mechanic can verify it.

A brake line would show a "cut" situation very easily. Brake lines run in several areas of the car, and are accessible from the outside. I'm not going to be to specific because there are many sick people out there that love exact information. If you think the car was deliberately vandalized, contact the police in your area.

First of all you should always test your brakes before leaving somewhere, go slow enough so if you can't stop will you eventually will, it's better than going 45 mph and oh sh*t I don't have brakes. Trust me if your brakes where vandalized somehow, they have investigators to find out what happened.
