how would our lives be different if each day would last 48 hours instead of 24?

If this was so our body would be genetically different to withstand that longer beating of a longer day and our years would be shorter and months would be different. OR if our goverment changed it to work like that i would GUESS that everything would be the same but with shorter months years and everythings the same but different days.

we would have alot more time to do things but not really because we would probably have to go to school and work longer

We would have probably evolved differently to account for the difference in time. Our metabolism, hormones, bodily structures, etc. would likely be much different at this point. This is just a small assumption, however. The effects of a slower earth rotation (leading to a longer day) may in fact have lead to immense changes in all of life on earth -- we possibly wouldn't even exist at this point.

yeah id be pretty tired but id loveeeee it =] well as long as school would still be only 7 hours. hen i could have some time for myself to relax after I do loads of work =]

Wow, we would be real tired. Our life span would be cut, and we wouldn't fine much of our time to do anything! Things will be twice as longer, making the human body REALLY weak.

I would fall asleep twice a day, instead of just once, and miss even more of life (oh, yeah, our years would seem twice as long too, and I would be only 30 yrs old now).

i would be super tired.
and we would probobly sleep like 12 hours,
and our school ours would be longer,
and everyone would be going to starbucks like 24/7,
i mean 48/7 lol :]

We live to half our life?

Our physical features would stay the same, but instead of living to 80 years, we'd live to 40?
