How would one go about drafting a dress pattern from just pictures?

I found some ridiculously cute dresses online and immediately wanted them. Turns out they are $125 and $895. Not cool. :c I still really want them though, so how could I go about making a pattern from just the images the site gives? Or would it just be easier to find patterns that come quite close to the dresses and alter them slightly?
