How would my wife and I set up joint domicile in the army?

I need to know how this works. My wife and I can't get a good solid answer.

She is currently in AIT as an E3. She is set to graduate March 3rd.

I am coming off of Marine IRR, reenlisting, and shipping off to AIT on February 3rd as an E4.

Can either of us do the joint domicile paperwork in AIT, or will one of us have to be assigned to a unit first? and will only one of us need to fill out the paperwork or will both of us need to?

My AIT is about 5 months long so it would be a really long time before i even got assigned anywhere.

All I know is we would have to go to S1 and request a DA4187.
 
ask your S-1 about duel-military questions, only one of use got the BAH, unless one is paying child support then the other gets BAH-diff. You can't get joint domicile until you get housing, I would think, off or on post because you are not paying rent or living on post which means you get no BAH. If you are put on a waiting list for housing you will have to get a place off post. are you confused now???
