Potassium Chlorate --> Potassium Chloride + Oxygen Gas
I started with:
K (ClO^3) --> KCl^3 +O^2
Would the formula for potassium chlorate be together? As in if I put a 2 in front of K(ClO^3) then does that 2 affect each element on that side??
It would end up being: 2K, 2Cl, 6O
Is that right??
