Well I'm a bit vertically challenged. I'm 5'5 and weigh 135. i can barely touch the ground on my GS500., the tips of my toes are barely on the ground. I would like to lower it about an inch to an inch and a half so i can have more piece of mind when i come to stops. I'm guessing lowering links from what i have heard and not to adjust the Suspension? i'm pretty much a car guy, and this is my first bike, any help would be amazing, and thanks, i love you all :)
i would consider buying another better fitted bike, but i picked it up from a friend dirt cheap and i've read that it's a great starter bike, something that i'm looking for, ive read the 250's are underpowered.

Sell it and get one that fits you.

Or wear a boot with a bit of sole. But seriously, sell it and buy a better fitted bike.
