how would I know if my boyfriend really owned a 2004 jeep grand cherokee?

when he first met me, he claimed he had a car, that he had in the shop where he lived in charleston,Sc. He never got it out the shop or even checked on it.... could he have lied about this?
 
Can he tell you about which shop is his car at,or the shop phone number ??
But between you ,and me,a guy might lie to a girl about stuff as such, only trying to impress a girl,cuase he likes her ,so it is not such a bad lie ,realy.Young people do that sometimes,iam not young,but i did this when i was,so go easy on him,which every way he does like you,and thats what counts,poeple change in time.
 
maybe, there's no real way you can go and check on which cars that he had owned/driven

i would go about asking his friends and/or parents to see
