I have an associates degree in communication art. The program had a photography class, which I took. I took 2 years of photoshop in high school and a year in college. I have a photography portfolio.
I want to apply at a photography company near me. They do senior photos, weddings, family portraits, etc.
Should I call first, e-mail, go in with my resume and portfolio, should I just include photos of people in my portfolio since that is what they focus on?
