There are already 6/7 billion people living on the planet earth, how can we survive if we can't fit in the planet anymore.I mean what if there are 30 billion people or more,, WE CANT FIT. By the way i was watching Stephen Hawking's talking about this and he was saying that "We have to spread out into space so we can survive", but that doesn't make any sense. Where exactly are we gonna go, plus there's no oxygen or life in any other planets near us or maybe there is no life out there at all (except in earth)

We can look into terraforming mars by that time that we need to i think the technology will be ready. it took decades for us to reach this figure and it will take decades more to reach 30 billion.

Maybe it won't. This bunch of half-witted little fµckmonkeys has managed to fumble around and not kill themselves off so far. But, sooner or later, we may manage to do it. ?

I will attempt to give you a thoughtful and serious answer

Developed countries have a population problem. How many ppl do you know that have two or more kids. How many ppl talk about having a big family of 4 kids. NOT Many at all. The psychology is that when you live in a poverty stricken country you have more kids because the chance of survival is alot less. Ultimately creating a population crisis.

Most developed countries have a declining population and rely on imigration.

Hawking thinks we should move into space because the rate population is ruining the natural biosphere. Includes global warming etc.

Ultimately we have to go into space for survival speaking in the long term. Where will we go? We can build large stations because of the low gravity. Such a station would only have to be designed so that it wont collapse under its own weight. I imagine it would be like a kenex idea where new sections can just be pluged in and then inhabited. Such a place would just orbit the earth. or sun..

We could mine various planets asteroids and moons for materials.

The only catch is that it currently costs $5000 to send lipbalm to space.

When that cost comes down too $0.05 We'll be in business

How does that happen

Imagine this!

There is enough wind power(for example) available on the east or west coast to supply an electromagnetic train. Much like the european models than are frictionless and super fast.

Imagine a tunnel dug from the coast to many km inland on an angle that digs into the earth

Like a potato gun you could load contains of supplies or passengers
get their speed up to a super fast rate on virtually free energy by the time the exit the tunnel. a few smaller rocket boosters and you might have enough thrust to make it

Ideas like that will help us realize our true destiny to the stars

Well if we would bomb the middle east and wipe out china, there would be a lot less people, and us Americans wouldn't have to worry about foreign affairs or terrorists anymore. The problem is, people just elected a completely incompetent, ultra-liberal joke to run the most powerful nation in the world, so to answer your question, we are not doing the right thing.

this answer is different but one day the whole planet is gone to explode then the earths gone to come back again
