How could anyone possibly make an Atlas Shrugged movie? John Galt's speech alone is four hours (I did the math: 330,000 words / 125 wpm) long, which is more than twice as long as the average movie. How are they going to make this into a decent movie?
Jeffy - So you're just suggesting that the director cut the speech from the movie? Obviously you've never read the book: All the story up to that point exists solely to put the speech into context.
The speech is actually 33,000 words, not 330,000. But still, it would take 4 hours to read.
