My fiance and I want to get married this March 2010. For now, FAFSA says my dad must provide his income taxes until I'm 24 or unless I'm married(I'm 21, will be 22 in July), so I'm wondering how getting married will affect my financial aid. I don't work. I'm a full time student. My fiance makes LESS than my dad. My dad makes around 39, 000 a year and my fiance makes about 15,000.
Also, how will getting married affect my fiance's taxes? If we get married in March, am I included in his taxes as a spouse when he files his taxes in April? Oh, and we do NOT have children, just in case it's important to mention.
