I'm a bit confused on my biology homework. The selective permeable membrane is permeable to water but not sodium chloride. This flask has 0.5 percent of sodium chloride. And in this flask, red blood cells are added which contain a solution that is 0.9 percent sodium chloride.
It says to predict what will happen to the red blood cells. But the percentage just throws me off. =\
