How Will Driverless Cars Effect The Economy?

I used to think driverless cars would benefit the world, but then I got to thinking about the economic aspects. It would destroy the economy! Think about it, millions of people are employed in driving jobs around the US, probably billions around the world. If driverless cars came around, it would put those people out of work.

Also, imagine how much money other aspects of driving bring in, including things like mods and police tickets just to name a few.

What are your opinions?

A technological advancement like that would do wonders for the economy. Shipping costs would go down and benefit everyone, but only a small number of drivers would lose their jobs.
