Both incidents were appalling. But, Rihanna was in far worse shape afterwards. The other victim was just on tv (1 day after the incident) and looked normal --- unlike how Rihanna looked.
Brown only got probation for hospitalizing Rihanna and destroying her looks for several weeks.
