How wide should I buy mudflaps for my 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GT?

I have a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with the 17" Pontiac made rims. I want to buy mudflaps for it but should I buy 7.65" mud flaps or 8.95" mudflaps? I dont know which ones will fit better.
