More in depth:
Considering the ramifications of the Spanish-American War, the shift from an agrarian society to an industrial society, & the attraction of the American way of life, show how the year of '1898' in particular would be a good place to start U.S. History II.
My History Teacher gave that to us for an assignment, and he didn't explain it really. I don't get it either, I checked out some sites, but I dunno .
My Answer: Agrarian Society- all farm work basically, no machines, basically an Amish lifestyle so to speak.
Then after the war, societies shifted to Industrial . That's where all the machines, factories and I guess some more um broader? is the word, inventions (wider range of invention really) came in and it starting building the society that we live in today?
That's sorta what I am saying, it is really hard for me to p[ut my thoughts into words. But is that what he means? Or do I need a more specific answer as to why SPECIFICALLY 1898??
I'd really appreciate a helping hand
Thank You
