I've also been looking into used bikes and craigslist, but I haven't found anything worth while. All of the sellers are asking for $800+ anyway where I live. Then there are some bikes for $50 (idk if i should trust those bikes).
And my local shops (been to four) don't actually deal used bikes. And I've had no luck with e-bay either, since every bike has $100 shipping added anyway and seems to go over $500 (might as well get a new one at that point).
I know this is a tough question, but how do you buy a used bike?
