Mom & Dad would talk to me and tell me the reason why i was being disciplined they didn't spank as my mom said hitting doesnt help, having said that one time i climbed on the roof when i was 4, they told me why it was dangerous and for me not to do it again, but i did so the 3rd tme i did it, my dad gave me one hell of a spanking on my butt...never did it again, my mom used to put me on a chair for time out, she said i hated it lol! also mom only asked / asks once. she used to be a kidnergarter teacher
