How were humans able to reach the majority of the continents before...

...civilization was formed? If the origins of man began in Africa, how were they able to span into several other continents?

The Aboriginese are a good example, how were they able to reach an island as far off from the mainland(Asia) with the threats of disease and famine.

Also, if nomads traveled there, how would they have transported the livestock and heavy supplies they may have had that would have ben neccessary for survival over the harsh tropical and disease infested environments?

They just kept wandering. People back then were hunter gatherers, survival was just part of everyday life. They didn't need domesticated animals or heavy supplies to survive. People were opportunists, eating whatever they happen to find along the way. Disease wasn't really much of a problem until colonization began a few hundred years ago.
