How was the first time you ever drove a car?

I drove a car for the first time in driving school and i was a horrible driver. i mean i couldn't do anything..i couldn't turn the car on i couldn't maintain my speed and stay in the same lane and turn and brake and i hit the curb a bunch of times..am i the only one?

I have never driven. I live in a major city with 24 hour transportation to every corner of every block. seriously.
