I am a former chef and here in Canada, Toronto ON mostly we have a fair number of Chinese and Indian buffet places, a few Italian and some others, but there are some who prefer a smaller meal, I go as I can choose my foods, and correct the portions, I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian and type 2 diabetic so I have to limit my calorie intake, and find I can choose more veggie options and not load up on carbs or fried foods, I do have a smidgen of meat, like chicken wings or tandoori , naan in the Indian places and a bit of rice at chinese ones, in the U.S they have many western style by that I mean more North American cuisine, not ethnic, I have only been to one in Buffalo, used to go the the Ponderosa one in Niagara Falls but it has closed own.
