How too transfer ringtones too my cellphone?!?!?!?!?

I downloaded some ringtones,from a free website onto my laptop. But i can't figure out how to transfer them onto my cell phone. I try doing it with a memory card,but when i put the memory card into my phone,the ringtones don't show up.
I dont know how too send messages to a cellphone by e-mail???
And I dont have a USB cord,or whatever they're called,either.

Please,someone help?????
