My mother in law hates me!!! Always has and I assume always will, but its Christmas and I don't want to keep my husband from his family, and she won't allow me to come over. Says I need to apologize for whatever reaosn, I said no problem, when my husband said "Here, kellie wants to speak to you and apologize"...She said no! I am so confuised, she seems to think I am ruining her only sons life and that he is un happy with me and neither of which are true. She tells him all the time to dump me....And I need to apologize? Now my husband is mad and upset with me because his mother is...What do I do to apease this god aweful wome who my husband thinks can do no wrong??? And make things right for Christmas?
I have been asking to "Stand up for me" for a long time, but refuses to get envolved! Says its between me and her and he is staying out of it. When she says something insulting, he says" I cant control what my mom says"...when i ask him to have her apologize, he says" Why do you want a forced or fake apology?" then does nothing.....I know my husband loves me, but who does he love more? If he keeps thinking i am keeping his mom away or keeps resenting me, your right, this marriage will fail and i don't want that! I just want her to grow up, forgive and forget and call it a day.
