How to watch Youtube HD through Sony Blu-ray player?

Hi there

We recently purchased a Sony HD TV and a Sony Blu-ray player. It's got youtube, netflix and more. The thing is, when watching youtube videos, there doesn't seem to be an option like there is on the computer to watch in 720P or 1080P. The videos automatically plays on the lowest resolution available. Where are the options to auto play on the highest definition?
(blu-ray player is model BDP-S570)

I have the same question. I tried to login on the Blu-Ray player with my YouTube account which has the account playback option "Always play HD when switching to fullscreen (when available)", but the Blu-Ray player still only plays the lowest available resolution. Makes this YouTube feature almost useless.
