How to watch golf on Sky Sports 3?

Do you have to sign in to watch Sky Sports 3 (US Open Golf today)? I can't seem to find a way to make it play.
Ok so I read earlier that Sky tv was a free service however it looks like I need to be a subscriber and pay. Ok thanks. I have to find another way to watch the open - the us golf stations won't let us watch it outside of the usa there.

If you are trying to watch it on the skyplayer on the website, you need two things. You need a sky online account and you have to have a subscription to skysports on your sky tv package to be able to watch it on the website.
